  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 1/2 cup fat-free Greek yoghurt

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • Salt

  • 1 egg


  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, a pinch of salt, and baking powder. Mix the dry ingredients well before adding the Greek yoghurt. Then, mix everything until it forms a cohesive dough.

  2. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it for a few minutes until it's smooth. Shape it into a ball and divide it into four equal parts. Shape each piece into a small ball.

  3. Roll each ball into a rope shape, then bring the ends together to form a circle, creating the classic bagel shape.

  4. Beat an egg and use a brush to apply an egg wash over each bagel.

  5. Sprinkle your favourite toppings, such as poppy seeds, sesame seeds, or cheese, onto the bagels.

  6. Place the bagels in the air fryer and bake at 170°C (338°F) for 12 minutes.
