Ingredients

  • 1 zucchini (about 350g) – grated

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1 garlic glove

  • 1/2 tsp sweet smoked paprika

  • 1 egg

  • 30g Cheddar cheese - grated

  • 30g Mozzarella cheese- grated

  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Start by shredding the zucchini, then add a pinch of salt, mix well, and set aside for 15 minutes.

  2. After the time has passed, use clean hands to squeeze the excess liquid from the zucchini and transfer it to a separate bowl.

  3. Add 1 egg, ¼ tsp garlic powder (or 1 minced garlic clove), ½ tsp smoked paprika, and pepper to taste. Mix in 30 g of cheddar cheese, 30 g of mozzarella cheese, and 2 tbsp of bread crumbs to help absorb the moisture. Combine all ingredients thoroughly.

  4. Form the mixture into patties.

  5. Place the patties on a piece of baking paper and spray both sides with oil. Place them in the air fryer and bake at 170°C / 338°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
