  • 500g apple - diced

  • 150g cherry – cut in half

  • 70g walnuts - chopped

  • 200g sugar

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 125ml sunflower oil

  • 4 eggs

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  1. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, sunflower oil, and eggs. Using a hand mixer, blend until the mixture becomes foamy.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and baking soda. Add this to the egg mixture along with the cinnamon. Mix all ingredients until the batter is smooth and lump-free.

  3. Fold in the diced apples, halved pitted cherries, and chopped walnuts until everything is well combined.

  4. Line a baking tray with baking paper and pour the cake mixture into it.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C / 338°F for 40-45 minutes.
