Ingredients

  • 500g minced pork

  • 1 small onion

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 2 bread rolls or slices of bread

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika

  • 1 tsp yellow mustard

  • 20g parsley

  • 30g breadcrumbs

  • 300ml milk or water

  • Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it is soft and lightly browned. Then, transfer to a plate lined with kitchen paper to drain.

  2. In a bowl, soak the rolls or bread slices in milk or water until they are completely saturated.

  3. In a separate large bowl, combine the minced pork, sautéed onion, minced garlic, eggs, chopped parsley, paprika, and yellow mustard. Squeeze the excess liquid from the soaked bread, crumble it, and add it to the meat mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

  4. Moisten your hands and shape the meat into small, burger-like patties. Then, coat each patty in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  5. Heat enough oil in a pan over medium heat to cover the 'mini burgers' halfway. Fry them until they are golden brown and cooked through. Finally, transfer them to a plate lined with kitchen paper to absorb any excess oil.
